This is not my first book by Marni Mann and it won't be the last. This one is pure billionaire-romance goodness with a secret-identity twist that’ll keep your heart racing (and maybe your jaw dropping). If you love stories with instant chemistry, emotional tension, and a little bit of “wait, you’re WHO?” drama — buckle up.

Maya’s a nurse in Boston who’s sworn off rich people — like, entirely. She’s got her reasons, and honestly, I couldn’t blame her. She’s independent, hardworking, and has zero patience for entitled men with money. Then she meets Jordan — this ridiculously handsome guy she keeps running into on her morning jogs. He’s charming, grounded, and totally not her type… or so she thinks. Spoiler: he’s actually a billionaire CEO hiding his identity. Cue the slow burn, the stolen glances, and that delicious tension that builds until it’s impossible to ignore.

What I loved is how their relationship feels like an emotional tug-of-war — attraction fighting against pride, chemistry tangled with secrets. Marni Mann doesn’t waste time with filler; she gives you banter, heat, and genuine emotional beats. And yes, the spice? Let’s just say it’s chef’s kiss level four out of five.

Maya’s stubborn streak made me root for her, and Jordan, for all his alpha energy, has that soft underbelly you can’t help but love. When his secret finally comes out, the fallout is dramatic but satisfying — it actually feels earned, not just thrown in for drama’s sake.

Should You Read It?

If you’re into:

  • Billionaire romances with a secret-identity twist

  • Grumpy/sunshine energy (he’s broody, she’s fiery)

  • Big emotional tension with even bigger chemistry

  • Boston city vibes and power-couple energy

Then yes, A Million Times, Yes is absolutely worth your time. Grab this one when you’re in the mood for a little fantasy, a lot of heat, and a romance that reminds you why secrets in love stories are so addicting. It’s sexy, fast-paced, and hits that “can’t-put-it-down” zone right away.

But if you’re looking for a quiet, slow literary love story or something totally out of the box — this one might feel a bit familiar. For me, though? Familiar in the best way. Like a trope you’ve read before, but with all the spice and sparkle turned up to a million (pun intended).

4.5/5 for me
