This is the first book in the Western Wildcats Hockey series and it also the first time I am reading a Jennifer Sucevic and I will say that I loved it.
This book is an enemies to lovers story between Ryder McAdams, one of the best hockey players on the college team that will soon be heading off to the NHL, and Juliette McKinnon the super smart bookworm pushing for med school. Their families have been friends all their lives but these two have never been close and pretty much don't really like each other. Turns out there is a fine line between love and hate!
After Ryder finds Juliette's bucket list for college he decides he's the only one that can help her with it, and the attraction he has been fighting for Juliette for years goes up in smoke as he gets close to her.
What can I say? The chemistry between these two was hottttt, and I loved every minute of it. I don't tend to pick college themed books but this one didn't disappoint. The spice was really great, but also were the romantic moments between the two and when they realise they have fallen in love it makes your heart smile.
I am really looking forward to Ford and Carina's book next so if you'll excuse me I am off to make a cup of tea and find a quite corner to start the next book Love You Never.
5/5 for me
